Guest Identification Policy

Mandatory ID Requirements for All Guests

Important: Valid government-issued photo identification is mandatory for check-in. Failure to provide required documents will result in check-in refusal.

Required Documents

  • Indian Nationals: Valid Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID Card
  • Foreign Nationals: Valid Passport and Valid Visa (both mandatory)
  • Primary Guest: Must be 18 years or older at the time of check-in
Check-in Requirements:
  • All guests must present their ID at the front desk during check-in
  • The resort reserves the right to refuse check-in if valid identification is not provided
  • No exceptions will be made to this policy for security and legal compliance reasons

Pet Policy

Maintaining a Clean and Comfortable Environment for All Guests

No Pets Allowed: Pets are strictly prohibited inside resort premises, guest rooms, and dining areas unless explicitly mentioned in your booking confirmation.

Unauthorized Pet Policy

If any unauthorized pet is brought into the resort, the following actions will be taken:

  • Sanitation Fee: A mandatory ₹10,000 deep-cleaning and sanitation fee will be charged immediately
  • Stay Termination: The resort reserves the right to terminate the stay with no refund
  • Additional Charges: Any damages or additional cleaning expenses will be charged to the guest

Service Animals

Exception for Service Animals: Service animals with valid certification may be permitted upon prior approval from resort management. Guests must notify the resort at least 48 hours before arrival and provide necessary documentation.

Smoking / Vape Policy

Smoke-Free Indoor Environment

Strict Prohibition: Smoking, vaping, and use of e-cigarettes are strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and indoor areas.

Designated Areas

  • Designated smoking zones are provided throughout the resort property
  • Smoking is only permitted in these designated areas
  • Smoking outside designated zones is strictly not allowed

Violation Penalties

  • In-Room Smoking Penalty: ₹5,000 fine for smoking or vaping inside guest rooms
  • Deep-Cleaning Charges: Any damages or additional deep-cleaning expenses will be charged to the guest
  • Stay Cancellation: Repeated violations may lead to immediate cancellation of stay without refund
Detection and Enforcement: All rooms are equipped with smoke detectors. Any activation will trigger immediate investigation and appropriate penalties.

Returns and Refund Policy

Standard Reservations

  • 30+ days before check-in: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
  • 15-29 days before check-in: 50% refund of total booking amount
  • 7-14 days before check-in: 25% refund of total booking amount
  • Less than 7 days before check-in: No refund applicable

Peak Season Reservations

(December 20 – January 10, Festival periods)

  • 45+ days before check-in: Full refund minus 15% processing fee
  • 30-44 days before check-in: 40% refund of total booking amount
  • Less than 30 days before check-in: No refund applicable

Non-Refundable Bookings

Special promotional rates and discounted packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. These bookings cannot be modified or cancelled once confirmed.

Modification Policy

Date Changes

  • First date modification: Allowed up to 15 days before check-in, subject to availability and rate differences
  • Additional modifications: ₹2,000 modification fee per change
  • Within 7 days of check-in: No modifications allowed

Guest Count Changes

  • Reducing guest count: Refund calculated based on per-person rates, minus 15% processing fee
  • Increasing guest count: Additional charges apply based on current rates, subject to room availability

Refund Processing

Timeline

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from cancellation approval
  • Bank transfers may take an additional 5-7 business days depending on your financial institution
  • Original payment method will be credited unless otherwise specified

Processing Fees

All refunds are subject to payment gateway charges (2-3% of transaction amount) and any applicable bank fees.

Special Services and Add-ons

Activity Packages

  • More than 48 hours before: Full refund for adventure activities and spa bookings
  • Within 48 hours: 50% refund applicable
  • No-show: No refund

Event Bookings

  • Wedding and conference bookings: Separate cancellation policy applies (refer to event contract)
  • Event deposit: Non-refundable but transferable to future dates within 12 months

No-Show Policy

Failure to check-in on the reserved date without prior cancellation notification will result in:

  • Forfeiture of entire booking amount
  • No refund or credit applicable
  • Room release after 6 PM on check-in date

Force Majeure

Circumstances Beyond Control

Paramount Resort reserves the right to cancel reservations due to:

  • Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
  • Government restrictions or health emergencies
  • Property maintenance emergencies
In such cases, guests will receive:
  • Full refund of paid amounts, or
  • Option to reschedule without penalty within 12 months

Early Departure

Early departure does not entitle guests to partial refunds. No refund for unused nights. Advance notice of early departure is appreciated but not compensated.

Group Bookings

Special Terms for 5+ Rooms

  • Minimum 30% deposit required at booking
  • Balance payment due 45 days before check-in
  • Cancellation policy: Refer to group booking contract
  • Partial cancellations: Individual room cancellations subject to standard policy with additional 10% group coordination fee

Payment Disputes

If you believe you’ve been incorrectly charged:

  • Contact our reservations team within 48 hours of transaction
  • Provide booking reference and transaction details
  • We will investigate and respond within 72 business hours
  • Disputed amounts held until resolution

  • This policy applies to direct bookings made through Paramount Resort’s official website, phone, or email
  • Third-party bookings (OTAs, travel agents): Subject to respective platform’s cancellation policies
  • Resort reserves the right to modify this policy with 30 days’ notice
  • Refunds issued in the original currency of payment
  • All amounts mentioned are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless specified otherwise
